Payment Instructions

General instructions for international payments to banks in SOLOMON ISLANDS: To make cross-border payments to the Solomon Islands, you need to ensure the following:

• Obtain all required bank information from the beneficiary, which includes the SWIFT BIC, account number, and beneficiary bank address.
• Government approval is required for all transactions.
• For the Ordering Customer (SWIFT MT103 F50), include the account number, full name (no initials), and address of the ordering customer. Use of initials can delay the receipt of funds.
• For the Beneficiary Customer (SWIFT MT103 F59), include the account number, full name (no initials), and address of the beneficiary customer.
• For the Beneficiary Bank (SWIFT MT103 F57), include the SWIFT BIC with branch identifier (where required), the full name, and the address of the beneficiary bank. The SWIFT BIC is 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters (e.g., xxxxSBxx or xxxxSBxxxxx).
• The reason for payment (SWIFT MT103 F70) should indicate the purpose of the payment, which is recommended.
