Payment Instructions

General instructions for international payments to banks in CAYMAN ISLANDS:

• Remitter should obtain all required bank information from the beneficiary, including SWIFT BIC, account number, and beneficiary bank address.
• Ordering Customer (SWIFT MT103 F50): Include account number, full name (no initials), and address of the ordering customer to avoid delays.
• Beneficiary Customer (SWIFT MT103 F59): Include account number, full name (no initials), and full address (mandatory) to avoid delays.
• Beneficiary Bank (SWIFT MT103 F57): Include SWIFT BIC with branch identifier, full name, and address of the beneficiary bank. The SWIFT BIC is 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters formatted as xxxxKYxx or xxxxKYxxxxx.
• Reason for Payment (SWIFT MT103 F70): Specify the purpose of payment, as it is recommended.
• Payments are processed onshore as draft payments.
• Payments where the underlying remitter is an MSB or PSP are not supported.
• For cross-border payments to the Cayman Islands, follow specific instructions related to data fields used in electronic data interchange (EDI) formats such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT. Use proper segments and element tags like N102, N201, N202, N301, N302 in ANSI X12 and F11, NAD, and FTX segments in EDIFACT.
