In order to send a SWIFT payment to TURKIYE it is highly recommended to meet the following recommendations:
To make a cross-border payment to Turkey, obtain all required bank information from the Beneficiary, such as SWIFT BIC, IBAN, and the beneficiary bank address. Note that banks in Turkey usually do not accept payments for beneficiaries without accounts. Ensure to include the account number, full name (without initials), and address of both the ordering and beneficiary customers in payment instructions (SWIFT MT103 F50 & F59). The IBAN must be included, and the purpose of payment should be stated (SWIFT MT103 F70). Ensure the SWIFT BIC uses the format xxxxTRxx or xxxxTRxxxxx. Note that banks are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.For the following financial institutions in TURKIYE you can find a list of their correspondent banks with the currencies and nostro accounts.
